Harpreet Chandi- British Sikh trekker has set a new record for solo skiing
British Sikh Army officer and physiotherapist Captain Harpreet Chandi, known as Polar Preet for her Antarctic expedition, has reportedly set a new world record. She has become the fastest woman to complete a solo skiing expedition to the South Pole.
Captain Harpreet Chandi, known as Polar Preet, achieved significant milestones in her Antarctic expeditions. Between November 13, 2022, and January 23, 2023, she completed a trek from Hercules Inlet to Reedy Glacier, surpassing the world record for the longest polar ski expedition by a woman, as well as the overall record. Chandi first made history in 2021 by trekking to the South Pole.
