Janhvi Kapoor’s Stylish Promotion of upcoming movie at IPL Match

Janhvi Kapoor kick-started the promotion of her upcoming film in a very stylish manner. As the fever of IPL 2024 match is on another level throughout the country, Janhvi came to cheer the MI adding-up the glamour to the sports ceremony.
In the match between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, her appearance gathered everyone’s attention. She wore a blue t-shirt with ‘Mahi’ written on it which indicates her upcoming movie: Mr. & Mrs. Mahi. Janhvi’s this appearance filled the excitement among the fans and media. In this movie Janhvi will be seen playing the role of a cricketer.
Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions is producing the film, which is directed by Sharan Sharma. In the movie, Janhvi is at forefront, illuminating her versatility as a super actor. The film promises to be a wonderful combination of comedy, drama, sportsmanship and romance. In the movie Janhvi is playing the role of Mahima with Rajkummar Rao who is playing the role of Mahendra.
About the movie, Karan Johar captioned in one of his posts of Instagram that “Some films are more than just stories … they are so much more than celluloid love …they talk to the viewer about dreams and how many a time people closest to us can come in the way of our dreams …”
Also in other post, he captioned “It’s time to follow YOUR dreams, the field is yours to own!”
As the journey to successfully playing the role of a cricketer is not at all an easy task, to bring perfection in her role of cricketer, Janhvi undergoes a rigorous training, engrossing herself in the cricket world. From understanding different terminologies of sports and mastering in cricket techniques, Janhvi has done whatever is mandatory for that.
Mr. & Mrs. Mahi is set to hit screens on May 31. The movie has already created a good buzz and fans are excitingly waiting for its release. The official trailer of the movie will be expected to release in second week of May, however, the exact date is still not confirmed to have a compact campaign of around three weeks.
Last movie of Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor together was ‘Roohi’. However, it didn’t give a good impact on release.
Mr. & Mrs. Mahi is going to be the fourth theatrical movie of the Janhvi Kapoor, following Dhadak (2018), Roohi (2021) and Mili (2022). The two upcoming projects of Janhvi Kapoor are ‘Ulajh’, which is a political thriller movie and other is ‘Devera’ with Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan based on Pan India Project.
Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming movie is Srikanth which is a biopic of an impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla and going to hit theaters on May 10, includes cast: Alaya F., Sharad Kelkar and Jyotika. After Srikanth and Mr. & Mrs. Mahi Rajkummar Rao’s upcoming films include ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’.
