Introduction to ICC Champions Trophy

• The ICC Champions Trophy is a major biennial cricket tournament.
• It is organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

By defeating New Zealand in the final of ICC Champions Trophy 2025, India has been successful in winning the Champions Trophy title for the third time.

India defeated New Zealand by 4 wickets in the final of the 2025 Champions Trophy. With this, Team India settled a 25-year-old account with the Kiwis.

India once again won the ICC Champions Trophy title after 12 years. After playing first in the final, New Zealand scored 251 runs. In response, Team India scored runs for 6 wickets in 49 overs. Captain Rohit Sharma played the highest innings of 76 runs for India.
